In a proactive measure, the CDA has revamped the building plan approval process at their facilitation center, guaranteeing swift service. Within this modernized and expedited framework, residential buildings of 356 yards will now secure approval and essential documentation within two days, subject to an additional PKR 20,000 fee. Larger residential structures exceeding 356 yards will also receive approval within two days, requiring a fee of PKR 30,000.

Furthermore, streamlined approval procedures have been implemented for commercial buildings covering up to 10,000 square yards within a three-day timeframe. A dedicated service counter has been established to handle these matters, eradicating the necessity for citizens to queue separately. The facilitation center is designed to offer citizens a comfortable environment, ensuring an efficient and hassle-free process.

Moreover, citizens opting for CDA-launched fast-track services will be provided a token and can directly proceed to the designated desk, expediting the processing of their case. This approach significantly reduces waiting times and eliminates unnecessary queues at the authority’s Facilitation Center. Once all requisite paperwork is completed, approvals will be swiftly granted, significantly enhancing the overall efficiency of the approval process.
