Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, the Chief Minister, has given his approval to the summary that the Planning and Development Department has recommended. The recommendation is to designate Gwadar as a Special Economic District. The news source states that the Balochistan government has granted Gwadar this status. The aim is to implement professional strategies formulated by the government. The goal is to hasten the rapid development of the area.
