RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Ring Road project chooses third-party validator

According to reports from May 23, a joint venture (JV) between Botek Bosporus Technical and Asian Consulting Engineers will assess the optimal route for the Rawalpindi Ring Road project.

The claimed JV got the contract by submitting the lowest technical and financial proposal of PKR 25 million. Although the Project Management Unit (PMU) expected the project’s cost to be PKR 30 million.

The final decision make during a meeting that arrange over by Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatha, Director General Saif Anwar Jappa, and Chief Engineer Habibul Haq Randhawa of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). It emphasis that the PMU will sign the contract with the JV in the upcoming days. It allow the company to begin operations before the end of the month. The project to build the Rawalpindi Ring Road expect to finidh in six months. Also, the task is given to JV for identifying the best route for it.
