Progress Update on RRR Project: 12% Milestone Achieved, Anticipated Opening in August.  

Punjab’s Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently conveyed a Progress Update on the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project, a 38-kilometre initiative, as detailed in a prominent newspaper on December 31.

Notably, 12% of the RRR project has already been accomplished. While giving progress update on RRR, CM Naqvi urged relevant departments to intensify their efforts, stressing the project’s timely completion. He expressed confidence in wrapping up the project by August and underscored its regional importance, citing the potential benefits it holds for residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi once finished.

Additionally, CM Naqvi personally inspected the in-progress construction of a temporary bridge at Soan River and praised the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) for their efficient work. He also provided updates on other ongoing projects in Punjab, specifically highlighting progress on the Daducha Dam construction, aimed at alleviating Rawalpindi’s clean drinking water shortage. CM Naqvi assured ongoing efforts to address traffic concerns at Rawalpindi’s Kutchery Chowk through an extension project.
