Pakistan, October 15, 2024: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline to file income tax returns. Earlier, the date was extended until 14 October, and now it is extended until October 31st.

The FBR tax collection body released a statement last Friday to announce the extension. Various trader bodies and tax bar associations requested the extension. The current banking wake in the twin cities due to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is another reason behind the extension.
