According to a news report on September 26, the ‘CDA Support Desk for Overseas Pakistanis was formally launched by Jawad Sohrab Malik, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis.
These support desks have set up at the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICT) offices and the One Window facility of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad.
The initiative starts to enhance support for overseas Pakistanis and address their issues. Through collaborative discussions between SAPM Malik and the CDA Chairman, these support desks have officially launched. Also, they will start operating this Monday.

SAPM Malik praised the relevant departments for reaching this noteworthy achievement. It emphasizes the government’s steadfast dedication to protecting the rights and interests of overseas Pakistanis.
The Support Desk at CDA will offer specialized services covering estate management, building control, land and rehabilitation matters, and revenue-related concerns. Additionally, there will be a designated information official on hand to provide procedural guidance.

Additionally, the ICT Administration Support Desk will ensure the smooth delivery of services. It includes the issuance of International Driving Permits, Arms Licenses, and Domiciles. These desks will operate during standard office hours and maintain continuous availability through diverse communication channels. Moreover, these include WhatsApp, dedicated landlines, and hotlines, to ensure easy accessibility.
