Smart cars present a way to tackle crime in Karachi

The introduction of smart cars is thought of as a successful weapon in anti-crime operations after reports of a “record-breaking”. As street crimes rise in Karachi.

DIG South present a report, who gave a briefing on security, law, and order conditions. Also on police actions against crime in the city’s South area during a review meeting presided over by Ghulam Nabi Memon.

According to a statement, the DIG South informed about the strategy and action plan of the South police against crimes. The plan included the present status of law and order, contemporary approaches, and equipment. Such as high-powered cameras and search devices.

He also supported the creation of innovative cars. The cars have features like advanced technologies, digital communication systems, the internet, and body cameras. He added, “This initiative would not only deter criminals but also promote a sense of security among citizens.

The DIG South also gave a briefing on all of Shaheen Force’s operations, the investigation division, the mobile phone recovery section, and the case file preparation rooms.

While delivering directions regarding CCTV cameras in several South Asian locations, Sindh IG welcomed the suggestion of smart cars.

The IG Sindh suggested giving it the title of a police patrol car. Also requesting that practical proposals for its adoption sent to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for official approval.

He stated the southern zone can begin the smart car (police patrol car) project after verification steps.
