Sindh working on GIS Mapping to tax property, repair roads

Manzoor Ali Sheikh, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Local Government department, disclosed that the Sindh Government actively involved in the integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping into its property tax collection and road repair programs. This information was reported in a leading newspaper on October 25th.

The Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) shared this information while meeting with a delegation from the World Bank (WB). This meeting assembled to evaluate the advancement of different projects funded by the global financial institution.

At the meeting on GIS Mapping, the ACS expressed his gratitude to the World Bank for its indispensable support in the province’s development initiatives.
