Sindh Police Launch an App to Trace Snatched Mobile

Sindh police have announced to launch of the Talaash app to trace snatched mobiles. This will help the investigation department to catch the criminals involved in terrible crimes.

Ghulam Nabi Memon is the head of the Sindh police. He attended the event as a chief guest at the Central Police Office (CPO). Project director PDIT, Tabassum Abbasi, and DIG IT Capt (ret’d) Pervez Ahmed Chandio.

It was developing by keeping the field requirements in mind to quickly find information from huge data banks in a fast and effective way.

The important features of the Talaash app are FIR digital copy, a list of wanted criminals, a list of blacklisted vehicles, automobile verification from excise, and cellular subscriber information.

The checking team will utilize the CNICs of the citizens to verify their information using Talaash. They may scan the residents’ fingerprints for biometric verification.

Moreover, the app will contain data of 1.5 million criminals.
