RUDA’s surcharge waiver scheme for Chahar Bagh plots expires in two weeks

According to the official Facebook page of the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) on September 26, the RUDA surcharge has encouraged applicants to take advantage of the two-week extension for the waiver scheme applicable to late payments for plots in Chahar Bagh.

It was emphasized that successful ballot winners have the option to waive their late payment fees. These payment fees cleared all outstanding installments before October 10. In its initial phase, Chahar Bagh presents plots of 1 kanal and 10 Marla, along with studio to three-bedroom apartments. Situated near the Ring Road Shareef Pura/Bhaini Road Interchange, this project aims to seamlessly integrate Lahore’s historical charm with a modern and contemporary living approach.

Under this scheme, plot owners can clear their surcharges without incurring additional penalties or interest. RUDA has shown leniency by providing a grace period during the surcharges. Additionally, these surcharges can settled without the customary financial penalties.

Two Week Deadline of Chahar Bagh

The expiration of the surcharge waiver scheme is prompting RUDA to issue reminders to the concerned plot owners. Officials are urging them to act promptly and avail themselves of the benefits provided under the plan before the deadline approaches.
