Lahore, August 23, 2024: The Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) has received bids for developing two large-scale fun lands in the premier parks of Lahore. Five big companies have submitted their bids, which the Pakistan Housing Authority is now reviewing.
According to the details, these fun lands will be installed in Greater Iqbal Park and Jilani Park. The annual lease amount for Iqbal Park is PKR 30 million, and for Jilani Park, it is PKR 12 million per year. PHA will give 120 days to the selected company to complete the project. Moreover, the land allotted for Iqbal Park spans over 78,850 square feet and 10 kanals for Jilani Park.
PHA Director of Coordination, Mr Hassan Ahmed, stated that new attractions will feature various activities, including rope courses, trampolining, immersive indoor 5D gaming experiences, and wall climbing.

Both fenlands are part of PHA’s broad perspective of enhancing the recreational facilities in Lahore. Expansion of parks will also create more job opportunities, which will enhance the local economy. The final announcement of the contract assignment will be announced soon. PHA is keen to complete the project within this year.
