Capital Smart City and National University of Technology (NUTECH) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Capital Smart City will certainly host a high-tech and revolutionary campus of NUTECH in its education city. The contract signing ceremony held on July 23, 2020, at its campus. Capital Smart City pledged to ease the process of land allotment for the campus. Besides, it will provide assistance regarding the subsidy for services and its operation. In this event, Rector NUTECH Lt Gen (R) Khalid Asghar and Pro-Rector Maj Gen Khalid Javed commended the remarkable efforts of Capital Smart City chairman and team. Besides, both of the partners pledged to ensure the provision of contemporary technology accompanied by high standard studies. Moreover, it aims to enhance Pakistan’s industrial growth and the economy. This Smart Campus will have the capacity to facilitate more than thirty-five thousand (35,000), students. The Main Campus will provide its services to achieve the Vision and Mission, in particular, producing entrepreneurs and industrial leaders of Character in the coming few years.
NUTECH is a public university run by Frontier Works Organization. Its main campus is located in Islamabad. Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the Higher Education Commission (HEC). NUTECH envisaged becoming an international-standard Research University.
The undergraduate applied engineering programs are developed as per the standards of Washington accord, ABET, and Bologna Process. Moreover, it is a pioneer in introducing “university for Industry” in Pakistan.
