The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) unveiled a swift and secure digital service for acquiring Power of Attorney (POA), as per an official announcement on December 4th.
According to details disclosed via the institution’s Facebook post, NADRA’s innovative approach enables individuals residing outside Pakistan to confer POA to trusted individuals within the country, removing the necessity of visiting Pakistani embassies.

Overseas Pakistanis can conveniently access this digital POA service through the official NADRA website: www.poa.nadra.gov.pk. This user-friendly online platform simplifies the application process, offering a seamless experience for those seeking to delegate legal powers without the inconvenience of embassy visits.
These are some steps within the online application procedure:
- Create an account on the POA portal.
- Fill in the required information online.
- Upload biometric data using the fingerprint form.
- Complete the online fee payment.
- Conduct a video interview with the assigned counselor.
- Provide final consent via email before receiving the digital Power of Attorney.
