LAHORE: LDA to auction leasing rights for Walk & Shop Arena in the near future

The Walk and Shop LDA’s Shopping Arena will shortly begin accepting bids for the auction of its retail spaces. LDA DG/Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa announced this while chairing a Working Group meeting here on Saturday. The shopping centre is a private sector project during the discussion and will offer lucrative investment options for citizens. Moreover, the cutting-edge project is going to set up for auction next month, per LDA DG’s directive. According to what he said, the project built on 130 kanals adjacent to the Johar Town Main Boulevard.

The meeting shows that it had been built in an international style and that the Shopping Arena was unique among all shopping malls in Lahore and across the province.

Bookings are now open for Lahore Smart City plot for sale.

Parking space is available in the LDA Shopping Arena for more than 500 cars and 500 bicycles. It has distinct areas with a mall, a play area, stores, rooftop restaurants, and many other amenities. According to LDA DG, “Walk n Shop Arena has a shopping mall with an international style.”

Officers from DG Housing, Chief Engineers One and Two, Chief Town Planner, and other departments attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, on the LDA DG’s orders, the Housing Seven Department launched massive operation against the land mafia in Johor Town. Also, recovered state property worth millions of rupees.

Under the Director Khurram Yaqoob directions, employees of Housing Seven removed a number of illegal structures built by the illegal inhabitants. Plots 551 to 567 of Block E-2, 415, 391 and 392 of Block G-4, 37 of Block H-1, and Plot No. 586 of Block F were among the recovered plots.
