Islamabad’s hospitality expansion; CDA offers Investor-friendly Terms

Islamabad, December 4, 2024: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is auctioning prime hotel plots in Islamabad Sectors F-5 to combat the growing demand for international-standard 5-star hospitality facilities in the capital. Islamabad’s hospitality expansion news has already excited potential investors.

Chairman CDA Mohammad Ali Randhawa shared details about the project during Tuesday’s meeting with a delegation of investors. He emphasized the need for luxury accommodation in Islamabad due to increased tourism and national and international events. He further stated that the city has become a premier destination. Improving the hospitality infrastructure is direly needed to boost the regional economy.

Two plots (no. 6 and 8) were highlighted in the meeting in the prime sector of the F-5 area, Islamabad. The location is considered ideal for developing commercial centers, world-class hotels, and serviced apartments. The overall development will increase the city’s global appeal while promoting tourism and enhancing the economy.

CDA has introduced investor-friendly terms to attract investors. The terms include easy installment plans spanning over 2 years, a 10% discount on lump sum upfront payment, and granting possession on 75% of payment.

In addition, investors are encouraged to give suggestions to make the most of the auction process. The chairman further said that CDA will thoroughly review the proposals and, depending on their potential, present them to the board for approval. It is high time for investors to enter the competition and seal the deal while benefitting from the flexible terms offered by the CDA.

Islamabad’s hospitality expansion will upgrade the city’s infrastructure and fulfill the need for world-class hospitality spots in the capital.
