Capital Development Authority (CDA) is likely to approve the development of an Economic Zone near the Rawat area of Rawalpindi District. The Board of Investment (BOI) and Special Economic Zone Authority intend to establish an economic zone in Rawalpindi (SEZA).
Moreover, to stimulate the local economy and enterprises close to the Rawat neighborhood of Rawalpindi City, two significant governing bodies of Pakistan are planning construction Plans for an Economic Zone near Rawat-Capital Development Authority.
Construction of a functional business center
The Board of Investment (BOI) and Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZA) have developed a plan for the construction of a fully functional business center.
Furthermore, the Capital Development Authority would thereafter receive an application for a No Objection Certificate (NOC). The purpose of NOC is to purchase property for the development of a fully functional business center (CDA).
Also, there will be a meeting between the representatives of CDA, BOI, and SEZA at the CDA headquarters.

ICT Model Special Economic Zone
