CDA shares details of new projects being developed in Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad has recently announced a comprehensive list of upcoming projects aimed at enhancing the city’s infrastructure. These projects, focused primarily on road rehabilitation, widening, and street pavement initiatives, will contribute to the overall development and improvement of Islamabad. In addition to road projects, the CDA’s environment wing is also undertaking a reforestation effort along the Bhara Kahu bypass, with plans to plant 50,000 trees.

Road Projects by Capital Development Authority

1. Improvement/Upgradation of Road from Talhar to Kingrian Village, U.C. Saidpur, and Islamabad: This project aims to enhance the road infrastructure between Talhar and Kingrian Village in U.C. Saidpur, Islamabad.
2. Rehabilitation of Pind Parian Road from Benazir Chowk to Pind Parian: The CDA will rehabilitate the Pind Parian Road, focusing on the stretch from Benazir Chowk to Pind Parian, to improve connectivity and road conditions.
3. Rehabilitation of Internal Roads of U.C. Jhangi Syedan: The CDA plans to rehabilitate the internal roads of U.C. Jhangi Syedan, contributing to better transportation within the area.
4. Rehabilitation of Sarai Kharbooza Road from Niazi Chowk to Qilla, Including Internal Roads in U.C. Sarai Kharbooza: This project involves the rehabilitation of Sarai Kharbooza Road from Niazi Chowk to Qilla, including the internal roads within U.C. Sarai Kharbooza.
5. Construction of RCC Nullah at Khayam Town: The CDA will construct a Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Nullah at Khayam Town, enhancing water drainage infrastructure in the area.
6. Construction of Retaining Wall along with Nullah at Golra Sharif: To prevent erosion and improve water management, the CDA plans to construct a retaining wall along with a Nullah at Golra Sharif.

• Street pavements in villages of U.C. Thalla Syedan, Jhangi Syedan, Bhadana Kalan, and Sheikhpur
