Azerbaijan waives duty tax from Pakistani rice.

Azerbaijan, Pakistan’s brotherly Islamic neighbor, eliminated the levy on rice imports.

Rice imported to Azerbaijan from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is exempt from a 15% import customs fee, according to Azerbaijani media on Tuesday.

Rice from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with the same origin is duty-free till December 31, 2027. The necessary decision came from the Cabinet of Ministers.

Pakistan and Azerbaijan have good brotherly relations. Both countries provide mutual support in a variety of regional and international forums.

In a tweet, Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, called the decision “critical.” He stated that it will significantly improve commerce and economic activities between the two countries.
