The most recent updates reveal that the Punjab PDWP has greenlit Six Development Schemes/Projects across various districts in Punjab.
Reports indicate that 6 proposals spanning emergency services, sports, road and bridge construction, and irrigation have garnered approval from the Planning and Development Board (P&D).

During the meeting chaired by Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, several initiatives totaling PKR 9.504 billion were sanctioned. The PDWP six development schemes breakdown includes:
- A budget of PKR 784.908 million designated for the construction of the Arifwala Bypass.
- Allocation of PKR 2.731 million for an interchange on the Khanewal-Lodhran Road.
- Strengthening Punjab’s emergency services across districts, funded at PKR 756.851 million.
- Establishment of high-performance cricket headquarters in Faisalabad(PKR 1.245 billion) and Sialkot (PKR 1.323 billion).
- Implementation of District Performance & Conveyance Efficiency-II, estimated at PKR 2.663 billion, to enhance water delivery and conveyance efficiency by lining irrigation channels with concrete.

Simultaneously, Chairman Iftikhar Ali inspected the development project sites for the controlled access corridor from Niazi Interchange to Saggian Interchange and from Saggian Interchange to Babu Sabu Interchange. Mr. Asrar Saeed, Chief Engineer of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), presented a progress report on these expansive projects at Babu Sabu during Chairman Iftikhar Ali’s visit.
