Relief of Rs. 7.83 Per Unit in Electricity Bills is being offered to Karachi Residents

According to reports, NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority) expects to reduce K-Electric (KE) customers’ power costs. Sources revealed that in November 2022, due to fuel price adjustments, consumers will get relief of Rs 7.83/unit.

According to details, KE consumers will receive relief of Rs3.15 billion in charges since KE is working to lower its customers’ costs related to quarterly fuel adjustment fees.

On the other hand, NEPRA is also holding a public hearing on KE’s request. The main focus of the public hearing is to discuss the reduction in electricity rates on November 30.
