LDA accelerates Band Road Project amidst monsoon challenges

Lahore, July 31, 2024: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has continued working on the Band Road Project despite significant challenges due to the monsoon.

Lahore Development Authority DG Mr. Tahir Farooq, along with Chief Engineer Israr Saeed and other project officials, visited the site. According to the updates, the lane marking and asphalt laying are almost complete. Despite the weather woes, final touches are being made to the service road. Moreover, the construction of the toll plaza from Babu Sabu Chowk to the Corridor continues.

A meeting led by the DG also discussed digital transformation initiatives, including utilizing ” Digital File Processing” to streamline operations. While highlighting the importance of record checks, the LDA DG also emphasized adopting one-click processing to maintain a paperless environment and speed up the entire process.
