Govt. Designates 40.5 Billion PKR for GB Uplift
GILGIT: Govt. Designates 40.5 Billion PKR for GB Uplift. The Federal Govt. on Wednesday Allocated Rs 40.5 Billion for Different Projects in Gilgit Baltistan. These projects include in Public Sector Development Program (2021-2022).
Minister for Planning Development and special Initiatives Asad Umar stated that Projects worth 55 Billion are in pipeline. While budgets for years up to 2024 are increasing more. Further More Asad Umar stated that China Pakistan Economic Corridor is going at a very fast pace. Gilgit-Shandoor Express Way is also part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Accordingly, the Project costs an estimate of 50 Billion PKR.
While Addressing the media Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Khalid Khursheed and Other Provincial Ministers were present along with the Federal Minister of Planning Development and Special Initiatives Mr. Asad Umar.
