ISLAMABAD: CDA will approve commercial building plans within one month

According to news published on April 8, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to approve the layout plans of any commercial building that complies with CDA guidelines within a month.

According to a CDA spokesman, they give instructions to all three building control sections to expedite their work. Also, approve the commercial projects within the allotted one-month period. According to reports, CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal recently noticed a delay in the construction designs’ clearance. So, he orders them to speed up the procedure.

Additionally, according to sources, while approving projects, the authority makes sure that no commercial project is carried out in a way that endangers the environment. Furthermore, Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (PAK-EPA) is closely monitoring the city’s development projects. However, many commercial projects are now in progress, and many are almost finished.

According to the Building Control Section (BCS)-I record, under-construction projects are:

• 1 ongoing commercial project in Sector F-5
• 8 in Sector D-12
• 4 in Sector F-7
• 7 projects are nearing completion in Blue Area

Building Control Section (BCS)-II

According to the BCS-II database, the following projects are currently under construction:

• 2 commercial projects in Sector G-6
• 5 in Sector G-7
• 6 in Sector G-8 as well as 7 in Sector G-9
• 5 projects in the H-series

Building Control Section (BCS)-III

Additionally, as per the BCS-III record, under-construction projects are:

• 6 projects in Sector I-8
• 7 in Sector I-9 as well as 5 in Sector I-10
• 3 in Sector I-11
• 2 on IJ Principal Road
• 3 in I.T.K and 2 in Margalla Town
• Also, 7 commercial projects in other areas
