CDA Gives Go-Ahead to Modernize Capital Hospital

Islamabad, August 1, 2024: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has given the green signal to modernize Capital Hospital. Several key decisions were discussed, including sanctioning insurance policies for employees and approving federal maternity and paternity rules within the CDA.

The Capital Hospital modernization will include upgrading the existing facilities, forming specialized departments, and introducing advanced medical equipment. The project will also focus on improving the in-patient and outpatient facilities, ensuring the hospital can accommodate a greater number of patients. 

Furthermore, 27 kanal of land is sanctioned for the construction of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Science and Technology University(SZABIST) in sector H8.

The Chairman CDA emphasized the timely completion of all projects under the authority’s jurisdiction. He further directed the dedicated engineers and relevant work departments to maintain quality and avoid negligence. 

He also directed about the timely completion of the Park Road widening project. The Chairman further advised to open one or two lanes for public use. He rejected the proposal for a partial inauguration & asked the officials to plan the inauguration once the project will completed.
