ISLAMABAD: Bhara Kahu Bypass is expected to be operational soon: Federal Government

According to sources, 90% of the multibillion-rupee Bhara Kahu bypass key changes, culverts, underpasses, bridges, and interchanges built. The remaining work on the project, according to the analysis, will complete in eight weeks.

The research also highlights that just one of the top slabs of the seven culverts is repairing. Out of the five underpasses, only the top slab of the Shahdara underpass and a section of the top slab of the Kiani underpass are still in place.

Only a portion of the top slab of the interchange needs to complete. The nullah bridge will finish once the girders and slab are in place.

Next month the opening day of the Bhara Kahu Bypass will decide. The locals of Bhara Kahu and the surrounding area get benefit from the project. The project will also enhance traffic flow.

The 5.6-kilometer route (with a one-kilometer flyover) covers the length of Malpur, starting on Murree Route in Malpur and concluding on Murree Road close to the Jugi bus station.
