Islamabad, July 30, 2024: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the upgrade of parks and industrial zones in Islamabad. The plan includes modernizing recreational facilities and advancing the industrial zone to create job opportunities and attract investors.
The authorities are ambitious about revamping all the major parks in Islamabad. The initial process will target Fatima Jinnah Park, Lake View Park, and Shakarparian. The upgrade process will feature the installation of modern amenities like jogging tracks, children’s play zones, and fitness zones while enhancing security and improving the landscape.

Integrating solar energy and utilizing water conversion techniques will ensure long-term viability and sustainibility. In addition, new industrial zones will be introduced, along with upgrades to existing ones. The new zones will be equipped with high-speed internet, advanced infrastructure, and reliable utilities.
The government wants to take all measures to attract local and international investors. To maximize the benefits of all the efforts made to improve the economy, the government will introduce additional incentives like tax breaks and simple regulatory processes.
