LDA moves to digital processing of files under DG’s directive

LAHORE: The Director General of LDA Tahir Farooq is all set to implement digital processing of of fully sifted files. On June 28, the Chief IT Officer must bring all the files online within a few days. The cleared files would be available online just a click away, a step forward toward monetization, efficiency, and transparency.

Director General LDA stated, ” Delays in application processing for fully sifted files are unacceptable.” He further emphasized setting a timeline for non-sifted files to avoid any inconvenience.

Digitalization will streamline operations, reducing the risk of data loss and easier documentation retrieval. Moreover, this online transition will aid in more efficient workflow and quicker response time resulting in relief to citizens and an organized approach toward handling land development files.
