Commissioner Lahore and LDA DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa have instructed to set up a system for online application submissions. Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed the LDA one window cell team to start online application submissions for citizens by next week. The initiative of ‘LDA to soon launch a mobile app for online application submissions’ is admirable.

The initiative aims to provide doorstep services to citizens. He also instructed the IT wing to develop the LDA mobile application as soon as possible, which will include online submission of applications and other services.

Efficient, Effective, and User-Friendly: LDA’s One Window Cell and IT Solutions for Citizens
Additionally, the LDA DG directed to designate of permanent focal persons for the One Window Cell’s Housing Directorate to address problems. Moreover, he also instructed that E-Khidmat and other services should be made more effective with the help of PITB. Its aim is to simplify the identification process via the use of IT. Further, he said that one window staff should value citizens’ time. They should refrain from calling them in for visits unless necessary.
Further, Muhammad Ali Randhawa also reviewed the performance of one window cell. The director of one window cell, the director of DG headquarters, and the directors of the IT wing were also present in the meeting.
