The federal government is introducing an affordable housing program for middle-class residents, as disclosed by Housing and Labor Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sherwani. The secretary revealed this at a meeting with a delegation. It was headed by Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Ahsan Zafar Bhaktawari.

The event will occur from 8-11 December at Jinnah Convention Center, Islamabad. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate the real estate fair. The exhibition aims to promote the domestic real estate industry in order to ensure affordable housing for citizens. Representatives from the real estate and housing industries from all over the country will participate. Real estate developers, housing associations, real estate consultants, and building companies will get a chance to showcase their projects.
After the meeting, the Minister of Housing and Business said the Expo would attract domestic and foreign investment, which would help boost the country’s economic position. The ICCI president said the housing and construction sector will lift the economy by creating significant employment opportunities.
