FBR has developed a user-friendly, comprehensive interface. Upon completion of payment, the user will receive a verified Computerized Payment Receipt (CPR) via email and SMS. This integrated system is available within the IRIS 2.0 portal.
Furthermore, a unique Payment Slip ID (PSID) will be generated to enhance transparency. The taxpayer can then easily retrieve and confirm the payment records using this slip.
According to an FBR spokesperson, “Under this system, the payment of withholding tax, income tax, sales tax, and federal excise duty has been unified.”
This strategic move by FBR will reduce the fuss of switching to multiple platforms or the need for multiple logins. It will create an easy-to-go, single-integrated interface that provides the utmost feasibility to taxpayers. By prioritizing the feasibility of taxpayers, FBR has proven its commitment to support taxpayer and provide utmost feasibility.
